Iris Nebula (NGC7023) - Sep 7, 2021
https://www.facebook.com/awni.hafedh/posts/10158641946000888I figured if I was successful in capturing 10min subs with the Ghost Nebula that I capture a day before then I should definitely try to capture the Iris Nebula which is very close, the Iris nebula is very bright and you can get it easily with 1min exposure as I've tried it before, but the main reason for 10min exposure is to capture all the super faint nebula surrounding its bright core so I had to do it especially from Gladwin dark skies.
Luckily I didn't have guide problems and my stars were fine and I ended up with total of 39x600sec subs from two nights, the stacked image were very promising but the dark nebula were noisy and to be honest I didn't care first but then I received a discount email from Topaz DeNoise and I wanted to give it a try and to my surprise the results were much better so I purchased it and I was very please with the new processing technique.
I did stack it with AstroPixelProcessor which keeps amaze me with it's simplicity and then processed it with PixInSight to improve the dynamic range and create more like a HDR image and used Topaz to remote the noise and the final process were done with Luminar 4
